Why should I come?

This expo is all about mums-to-be! No fluffy baby clothes, no mountains of toys. Education and service providers that pregnant women need during and after pregnancy. We aim to share information and connect pregnant women to amazing local pre- and postnatal services. We want women to be confident in their body and their ability to birth their babies!

Our speakers and stall holders are experts in their fields and will include midwives, childbirth educators, doulas, physios, acupuncturists, obstetricians, lactation consultants, birth photographers, pregnancy fashion labels, authors, local support groups and more!

I’m not pregnant yet. Should I still come?

Absolutely! Birth preparation starts before you are even pregnant. Where will you birth? Which model of care will you choose? You’ll be able to make more informed decisions after taking to one of our experts.

Can I bring my partner?

Please, please do! Bring them so they can get all the info on how to give awesome birth support during labour!

Can I bring my kids?

Kids are welcome to the expo and receive free entry. There will be a small kids corner with activities. If you have booked into any workshops, we do ask you to take babies and kids out of the room if they are interrupting the workshop or the other participants.

Is it really free?

Yes, but workshop tickets are $10 each. Please book early to make sure you get a spot.

Will I be able to purchase workshop tickets on the day?

Only if the session hasn’t already sold out. We recommend getting your ticket now.

The 2018 Moonee Ponds Confident Birth Expo will be held at the Moonee Ponds Bowling Club, 776 Mt. Alexander Rd., Moonee Ponds.
